SAS BIOGRAPHICS

Since 1989, Steve Mengos, founder of SAS, has represented Chadwick-Helmuth Co., and ACES Systems, both recognized manufactures of aircraft vibration control systems. During the course of the last decade, Mr. Mengos has provided technical support to aviation customers, aircraft and engine OEMS, public service flight operations and U.S. and foreign militaries. Mr. Mengos has also contributed to the development of a wide variety of high-tech aviation vibration control hardware and software products.

After recognizing the widespread need for more cost effective training for users of Aviation Vibration and Balancing systems, Mr. Mengos formed Specialized Aviation Services (SAS), who's goal is to provide the most complete and value-added training package available for ANY aircraft maintenance facility, utilizing ANY brand of system currently in use.

Prior to 1989, Mr. Mengos acquired experience as a Line Maintenance Technician for Continental Airlines (727-100/200, 737-300, DC-9, DC-10-10/30).

Mr. Mengos currently possesses an FAA Airframe-Powerplant certificate, Machine Vibration Analyst Category-3 Certification (Vibration Institute), Bachelors of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering Technology and is a FAA licensed Commercial Pilot with multi-engine rating.
